WHAT IS "MP3"
"MP3"
is a sound file format which delivers near CD-quality sounds. "MP3" stands
for MPEG1 Layer 3. The differences between the "MP3" and the "MIDI"
file format is the "MP3" is a compressed audio file that is equal to approximately
1MB for every minute of sound. Because of it's compression the "MP3" can
be easily sent over the Internet. "MP3's" provide higher quality
sound than a "MIDI" and allow for vocals which "MIDIs" are instrumental
only sound files.
